Asymptotic Statistics
A. W. Van Der Vaart@sam_power_825 And Jeff's proof of Theorem 4 is really elegant compared to, e.g., the corresponding proof in van der Vaart's Asymptotic Statistics. (To be fair, vdV uses the more general testability condition, but I still think Jeff's proof is a win.)

Econometric Theory and Methods 2nd Edition
Davidson@michael_wiebe @paulgp @rmkubinec Econometric Theory and Methods (Davidson and McKinnon) section 7.10 discusses this a bit, but I think its emphasis on efficiency and panel data is a little limiting. I think I'm looking for the BDA breadth of perspective with econometrics levels of detail.
