When I say “Romance deserves respect,” I don’t mean my books should be alongside Margaret Atwood’s or anything. I mean that Romance deserves the same respect given to any other genre of popular fiction: Mystery, Thrillers, Fantasy, Sci-Fi. Well executed, entertaining stories.

@garcia_wms @Clarissrox My child got *years* of teachers assuming he just wouldn’t “stay on task” — all the way through 6th grade. He was kept in at recess to finish work, or expected to bring it home as extra homework. I’m glad that you are one of the ones who can recognize actual struggling.
