Donne: Poems: Introduction by Peter Washington
John Donne@pinstripeowl If I recall correctly, I did Othello, the poems of the John Donne, The Great Gatsby, and The Remains of the Day. I do think having less recent fiction is really limiting in terms of what conversations you can have with students and, obviously, with questions of representation.

Caliban and the Witch: Women, the Body and Primitive Accumulation
Silvia Federici@max_legroom @whowh0m Marx's account of English history in the following chapters is good. Could also read other historians of that period. Silvia Federici's main emphasis (eg in Caliban and the Witch) is that Primitive Accumulation is an ongoing process, not limited to the early modern period.

Dirty Work: Essential Jobs and the Hidden Toll of Inequality in America
Eyal PressIf you wanted to introduce some nuance and thought into the conversation about how jobs are ethically compromised, a decent starting point would be Eyal Press' book Dirty Work. https://t.co/1vPQ7Kml4H

Red Skin, White Masks: Rejecting the Colonial Politics of Recognition
Glen Sean Coulthard@max_legroom @whowh0m Glenn Coulthard goes into it in Red Skin, White Masks. Carolyn Merchant's Death of Nature has good stuff on gender and ecology.
