@d0minic_leonard @hatefuldaughter I second this! Re. others - Havi Carel's writing was v. useful for me when I was thinking about illness academically, and Ann Oakley's 'Fracture' is v. good. Outside of the UK & more illness specific, Johanna Hedva, Anne Boyer & Sarah Manguso are all incredible.
