1/ Baptism of Fire by Andrzej Sapkowski. Read by the phenomenal @PeterKennyVoice, this book in the #witcher series sees #Geralt search for Ciri. His new team: expert archer Milva, vampire Regis, swordsman Cahir and the ever buffoonish Dandelion form an unlikely team of misfits.

1/ Light Perpetual by Andrzej Sapkowski. I am a massive fan of Sapkowski's books but this one unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The ending was rushed and the character descriptions all over the place. This confusion was compounded by a profusion of Latin expressions.

Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. This book published in 1962 is as relevant then as it is now handling the subject of the chemical mistreatment of our natural environment. Back then Carson analysed the worst offending group of deadly chemicals known as DDTs ☠️☠️☠️

Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The classic tale of a poor boy from a poor family 👦, a life of monstrosity that is easy come, easy go, but he flees the workhouse to the streets of London 🏙️, Fagin, Bill Sikes and the Artful Dodger.

Neuromancer by William Gibson published by @WFHowes. This cyberpunk💀classic was an incredible read: worlds ahead of its time even before the internet was a thing. Take the concept of jacking up into a network and being able to explore in a pseudo-matrix style: ground-breaking.

1/ Season of Storms by Andrzej Sapkowski. The finale of the #Witcher series and what a great book to end. There are endless plot twists in this work, from the confiscation of Geralt's swords to a deadly ambush to Dandelion's purchase of a staff, each chapter flows seamlessly...
