About the Author

Rich Paul was the leading daily handicapper for The Washington Post in the 80's and 90's alongside legendary horse racing columnist Andrew Beyer. Prior to that he was handicapper and columnist for the New Orleans States-Item and exclusive equine advisor to Mike Warren Sports consultants. He has served as program oddsmaker for Pimlico Race Course and Laurel Park and as publicity director for the Maryland State Fair at Timonium. Mr. Paul has contributed to Backstretch Magazine and to the Thoroughbred Times.
