Just finished Hold the Line, the memoir by Michael Fanone. I usually stick to fiction, but the political moment we are in is so critical. When I stumbled across Fanone's interview with @Trevornoah, I was struck by his honesty and criticism of both political parties.

@CassCStirling My husband is proud of making his way through Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and 1984 by Orwell. I have personally only made it through about half of 1984 before tapping out on the political rants. But then, I don't really consider myself classically "well read."

@Elderac @SamwiseSquared I've had a lot of series that stuck with me in my childhood and youth. I would say The Black Stallion by Walter Farley and Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey were the two that I re-read annually at points in my life.
