@jackbremer I honestly didn't mind HP. Funnily enough I leafed through one of James Patterson's books for kids in a library and it was even worse than Alex Cross. The children in it genuinely talked like grump old men, angry about electric cars etc, things that obviously bothered Patterson.

@JWFrogen @SalmanRushdie Just like right wingers are crap at comedy. They've got two jokes - "X identifies as a Y!" and "My pronouns are X, Y and Z!". I see you already tried one of them above. That aside, George Orwell was PC, so I guess you think Animal Farm's just a boring book about pigs.

Jesse Armstrong created Succession – growing up in British culture didn't hold him back from making a smart show.

@GarryConnolly2 I remember reading Kevin Smith's blog while filming Dogma and he couldn't say enough great things about her as an actress, comparing her very favourably to his female lead on Chasing Amy. So it was weird to read today that he subsequently says they clashed.

@G4M3RUNPLUGG3D "I haven't watch conventional TV in 20-yrs" Then I'll tell you - the BBC isn't showing the Sam Smith video to kids. It's no different to when they banned Relax. There's hardcore porn online - for sure it's nothing like the BBC. Sam Smith is tame compared to that. Cheerio now.
