#TransRightsReadathon Finished 'The Worm And HIs Kings' by Hailey Piper, and some very fine cosmic horror that was. I especially liked the catharsis of the ending, and the original take on creepy fungi. Will make my donation to Mermaids UK tomorrow.

Joyce Carol Oates... she seems to use Twitter the way I use talking to myself while listening to music, to unleash wilder thoughts and caress them, without actually letting them loose on the world. Odd way to use social media but I'm glad she's turned against transphobia.

@teagansturmer A really good one would be Dan Hanks' Swashbucklers. It's set in the present, but with real Stranger Things 80s vibes in terms of the adult friendship group and the cultural references.
