I finally saw Noah Baumbach’s adaptation of Don DeLillo’s White Noise (11/25 theaters, 12/30 Netflix), the first film to open both Venice and NYFF. Not unlike Amsterdam, the strong cast and witty writing and direction carry the film a long way until it runs out of steam.
