@weredawgz Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series. A classic kids' book series that starts with THE BOOK OF THREE and ends with THE HIGH KING. The last two books in particular, TARAN WANDERER and THE HIGH KING, hit me HARD in the best of ways as a kid.
