I don't usually Tweet abt books, but as a major mystery fan I have to shout out to Colson Whitehead's "Harlem Shuffle." Chester Himes' novels come to mind, as do the socially conscious Martin Beck books, but Whitehead gives the genre a spin all his own. And it's a lot of fun.
