I just finished RISE TO THE SUN by @byleahjohnson and it's SO BEYOND GOOD I cannot even stand it. Like, there was one reveal 3/4s of the way through where I fully clapped my hand over my gaped-open mouth and stared into space for awhile.

I finally read REVOLUTION IN OUR TIME: THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY'S PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE by my National Book Award classmate @KeklaMagoon. I usually avoid tweeting w/the publishing custom of capslocking titles bc it looks like shouting, but in this case I am shouting. It's amazing.

I recently tore through @hannaalkaf's new book (QUEEN OF THE TILES) and her first book (THE WEIGHT OF OUR SKY) and I was blown away, both times, by how phenomenally GOOD she is. Her books somehow manage to feel standard and also like magic.

"How To Sell A Haunted House" by @grady_hendrix is the best horror novel I've ever read. Was fully writhing on the couch while reading this one scene and begging it to stop. I read the second half in one sitting and couldn't stop talking about it.
