@LaurelSnyder I read Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport and found his advice to be helpful. Essentially I took a break from my phone and ALL social media for an entire month, then decided what I wanted to add back in. It's like an elimination diet but for tech.

@erinentrada Not MG, but hear me out: Have you read This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel? It's adult, but ticks all your other boxes. Family with a trans child. Fantastic characters, great story. So beautiful and sad and funny, and I've cried multiple times. I am also dead inside.

@mbrockenbrough One of my favorite books as a kid was The Fairy Rebel by Lynne Reid Banks. The first half of the book is entirely from an adult POV. I loved it. Kids are fascinated by the lives of grownups!
