@Eva_Kimani_ This is 💯 true for some parts of the economy and not others. To understand the distinction I recommend Jane Jacobs “Systems of Survival.” For civil defense, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other parts of the commons, privatization brings perverse incentives.

@AlexEpstein The populations of mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles have actually declined 68% since 1970. But because *these* two people were significantly off in their prediction of the future we can continue to destroy biodiverse habitats then. Great!
