After @LiamMcIlvanney mentioned the late, great Iain Banks earlier, I'm just thinking how good a TV event series adaptation of The Wasp Factory (with the prod values of, eg, Haunting of Hill House) could be. In fact I think TV is in a place now it could do Banks proper justice.
