@joythompson1 @Foyles Yes, we can. William Blake wrote Songs of Innocence and of Experience for children - that's the book on the top left. His poem The Tyger was the very first spark of inspiration for my book Tyger - I read it as a child, and wrote about it in the blog, if you'd like to know more.

@JulieBertagna It's very close to mine too, which I think is why I'm drawn to this stuff. Other recent reading includes Richard Jefferies's After London, MP Shiel's The Purple Cloud - so there's a definite pattern to this!
