@megannnkoontz 2 books that I found extremely helpful (after a few difficult experiences being hurt by church): Soul Survivor - Philip Yancey Each chapter is about someone’s faith that has inspired him—like a bunch of encouraging mini spiritual biographies.

@msjennylayne I feel like we often confuse Christian—a description of someone’s life—& salvation. But I’m open to any verses that describe being a Christian differently. They will know we are followers of Jesus by our love. A faith without loving actions is a dead faith.
