@Bartholomew0716 @JosephBenJ2 @PetriOP Catechesis and obligations are there throughout, both before and after the sacraments of initiation. But there’s no quiz for admittance to the sacred mysteries. Even slow kids need the strengthening of the Holy Spirit and the bread of life.

@FeserEdward @jennfrey It still takes about thirty premises to reduce it to what’s per se nota, but St. Thomas is right that it’s the most manifest way. Frankly I wouldn’t try to teach it to anyone who hadn’t studied Aristotle’s Physics though. I don’t think the quinque viae are great for beginners.

@thomaesplendor @JulianaCrestani But in general I think he’s really wonderful. The Darkness of God is one of the most important books I’ve ever read. Aquinas: A Portrait is one of the only books about St. Thomas I don’t hate. And Faith Seeking is mostly phenomenal.
