But I guess if you’ve never read Wilkie Collins before, that won’t matter so much if you read Drood. But also I highly recommend Wilkie’s novels. His most famous are The Moonstone and The Woman in White. I also highly recommend Armadale, Poor Miss Finch, Man and Wife, & No Name.

@anotheramaya John Saul's Brain Child impressed me. And among modern books, Baby Teeth flowed pretty well. If you read older ones, Wilkie Collins The Moonstone is, to me a blend of several genres, including horror and mystery.
